A few weeks ago I had the privilege of attending a Mayors Summit for mayors that are trying to ban plastic bags and reduce ocean pollution. Sally-Christine Rodgers of Oceana and West Marine hosted the event. Many powerful speakers were there from NGOs and government. One of the most poignant pieces were saw was a film by photographer David Liittschwager that shows the dangers that plastics posed to the life of one albatross chick.
